My desktop PC has decided to go into retirement. It's been with me for I think 3-4 years, and before that not too sure how long with my brother. So I guess it was about time. It's been giving me so much problems trying to get it to start up, and from hanging up once I got into the system.<br /><br />The good news is I just managed to purchase a new laptop (HP DV5 1036TX) from SITEX 2008 over the weekend (though my heart was itching to get the HDX-16 with full HD). The bad news is there is no stock, and I might have to wait for another 2 weeks.<br /><br />So, keep buying friends, and I'll be back sometime in mid December 2008 !<br /></span></div>neoconvoyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04090744362404602811noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12503454.post-78449835062746776682008-11-05T22:00:00.001+08:002008-11-06T00:54:09.097+08:00DVD/CD Haul of the Day<div align="justify"><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v114/neoconvoy/Haul/2008/20081105_dvd.jpg" target="_blank"><img style="WIDTH: 420px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v114/neoconvoy/Haul/2008/20081105_dvd.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paprika_(anime)" target="_blank">Paprika</a> code 3 DVD and Superwoman KTV CD from Music Junction.<br /></span></div>neoconvoyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04090744362404602811noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12503454.post-7098932425771648502008-11-03T23:00:00.002+08:002008-11-04T02:00:55.705+08:00Haul of the Day<div align="justify"><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"><b>Movie Masters The Dark Knight</b><br /><img style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v114/neoconvoy/Haul/2008/20081103_mm.jpg" border="0" /><br />Went down to Vivocity to visit a camera shop to redeem some freebies, but went there a bit too late, and they were closed. Reason is these short stories are a great read, something different from the current mainstream comics, and the artwork are also amazing. If you are looking for something different, Flight is the one for you.<br /><br />Here are some samples from Vol 4, which I picked up from the local library. I have also included the short writeup of the artist from the book.<br /><br /><b>Cover</b><br /><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v114/neoconvoy/Comic/Flight%20Vol%204/20081101_comic.jpg" target="_blank"><img style="WIDTH: 420px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v114/neoconvoy/Comic/Flight%20Vol%204/20081101_comic.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://www.flightcomics.com/" target="_blank">Flightcomics</a><br /><br /><b>The Window Makers - Kazu Kibuishi</b><br /><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v114/neoconvoy/Comic/Flight%20Vol%204/20081101_comic1.jpg" target="_blank"><img style="WIDTH: 420px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v114/neoconvoy/Comic/Flight%20Vol%204/20081101_comic1.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><b>Kazu Kibuishi</b> is the editor and art director of Flight: Volume Four. I told him I was into comic art, and he told me to check out this series. Since then, I have been buying each translated volume, but still, have not read a single one. haha. Anyways, the anime was released a couple of months ago, and I just happen to chance upon it. Only seen one episode, and was kind of ok.<br /><br />It has a nice opening though, Akai Usagi (Red Rabbit) by Makura no Soushi.<br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CaOOZ6z3mTk&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CaOOZ6z3mTk&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><br /></span></div>neoconvoyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04090744362404602811noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12503454.post-9636104753487223312008-10-25T01:16:00.002+08:002008-10-25T01:20:48.947+08:00Music Recommendation - New Naruto Shippuuden Ending<div align="justify"><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ztjfylCGt9A&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ztjfylCGt9A&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><br />Naruto Shippuuden ending theme 7, Long Kiss Goodbye by Halcali.<br /></span></div>neoconvoyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04090744362404602811noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12503454.post-50147488907119555192008-10-25T00:01:00.003+08:002008-10-25T00:17:05.408+08:00Music Recommendation - New Naruto Shippuuden Opening<div align="justify"><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AsUv-cKh_yU&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AsUv-cKh_yU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><br />Naruto Shippuuden Opening 4, Closer by Inoue Joe.<br /></span></div>neoconvoyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04090744362404602811noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12503454.post-69710320942090752072008-10-20T21:00:00.002+08:002008-10-21T02:25:03.649+08:00Haul of the Day<div align="justify"><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"><b>CM's Master Action Series (MAS)</b><br />The <a href="http://neoconvoy.blogspot.com/2008/07/upcoming-blocker-corp-machine-blaster.html" target="_blank">wait</a> is finally over. ETA is June 2009, and is packed with vol 26 of the manga. Not sure if we will see a normal release. These figures packed with manga are quite difficult to get, let alone being expensive to import, like the previous Rei from Evangelion manga, and <a href="http://neoconvoy.blogspot.com/2008/04/haul-of-week_27.html" target="_blank">Gally</a> from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Angel_Alita:_Last_Order" target="_blank">Gunnm: Last Order</a> manga.<br /></span></div>neoconvoyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04090744362404602811noreply@blogger.com0
