Finally got a figure from this series, and a bit of luck when I held off buying any from the first series. Hasbro had added a double-joint knee articulation, instead of the previous series 1 version, which had only a single-joint. Now only if they do one for the red/blue costume, with a Peter Parker head.

After watching the movie, I decided to picked up the more articulated version of the toy. But it seems that the movie is so well received, the merchandise are flying off the shelves, with EVE not to be found anywhere.

I know what you mean when the movie does well, the toys will move. I actually regretted not getting the Kung Fu Panda figures (mainly due to the price). Once the movie did well, I could not find it anymore. As for Wall-E, I got Wall-E and Eve once the stores started to sell them..:)
i wanted to get the kfp figures, but the serious lack of articulation put me off...good for you man...i actually had a chance to get Eve, as i came across it twice in OG and Metro...only 1 on the shelf, and i hesitated...crap !
there were lots of eve in all sizes before the movie launch, none at all after tat! & I felt the price point was a bit high too, same goes for the Ironman, didnt know u wanted tat mate; lots at OG!
yah loh...i was waiting for discounts, but they toys were always NETT price...now all vanished...
thinking of getting the You-Repair Wall.E now...an the smaller version of Wall.E also not to be found...sob sob...
i think if 2-4 dollars off should be reasonable...
haha...i also didnt really wanted it...just saw it and still have 20%, so just bought it...when i saw it at People's Park, only 2 left...later the week I saw tons at Albert...the so-called "exclusives" are priced higher, for no reason other than to milk more $$$...even the normal figures are over priced...the Spider-man figures are S$17.90...
